Heidelberg Outcomes – The case for Collaborative Climate Action
The Heidelberg Outcomes consolidate the results of the International Conference on Climate Action (ICCA2019) that were developed and compiled during numerous workshops on sectoral challenges and cross-cutting issues. The document is a joined product delivered by representatives from state authorities of all levels, civil society representatives, topic experts and international networks.
They offer insights into which approaches work and why they work, which barriers have to be taken into consideration and what the leverages are for making collaborative climate action a reality on the ground.
The Outcomes, based on real life experiences from all over the world, show the complexity of challenges. They are a clear statement, that these challenges can be dealt with and they show ways of how to foster climate mitigation and adaption in a multi-level approach.
